Although Oniverse was already using advanced tools like the Looker Explore Assistant for natural language queries, it faced two main limitations.
The first was the barrier to entry for non-technical users, who needed to understand the data structure before they could ask a question.
The second was a limited and non-fluid interaction that discouraged in-depth analysis.
Solution
SDG Group designed and implemented Data Dialogue, an application built on AI, Visual Analytics, Data Governance, and the Data Mesh paradigm. Built on Vertex AI, BigQuery, and Large Language Models, we introduced an interaction based on LangGraph to manage the logical state of the dialogue.
The solution integrates different, specific LLM models for each state of the conversation, optimising performance and accuracy, with a redesigned front-end to facilitate continuous learning.
