SDG Group worked to optimize NeuronUP’s cognitive assessment and rehabilitation platform through the integration of artificial intelligence. As a result, professionals using the platform have been able to reduce the time required to prepare patient follow-up reports by up to 70%.

Until recently, psychologists and neuropsychologists wrote patient progress reports manually. Thanks to the new AI integration with NeuronUP, a first automated draft of the report can now be generated in seconds based on objective and quantifiable data. The professional retains full control of the process by reviewing and refining the final document, ensuring clinical rigor while reinforcing the essential role of expert judgment.

Greater efficiency in clinical reporting

The solution is powered by the metrics provided by NeuronUP Score, NeuronUP’s scoring system that reflects user performance during neurostimulation and neurorehabilitation activities across different areas of intervention. Using this data, AI generates a structured narrative supported by statistical insights on patient progress and performance trends.

The result is faster, more precise, and multilingual follow-up reports capable of distinguishing even between different Spanish variants, such as European Spanish and Latin American Spanish.

To deliver a robust and reliable system capable of avoiding inconsistencies or subjective assessments, SDG Group incorporated its internal accelerators into the project. One of these is InsightsGen, a solution designed to transform raw data into processed information. This generative AI tool ensures responses that are free from the hallucinations often associated with some generative models.

Among the main benefits of the new solution are:

• Greater efficiency and clinical rigor: the language used in the reports is objective, neutral, and based on high-quality data obtained through patient testing. Professionals only need to add their final clinical assessment.
• Global availability: reports can be generated in multiple languages, supporting potential expansion into new international markets.

The architecture is both scalable and modular. It is currently available to NeuronUP professionals depending on their subscription plan, and its modular design means it could also be applied in other internal areas of the company for report generation in the future.

In future phases, the platform is expected to incorporate medical histories, enable comparisons of results by age and gender, and even recommend new activities or personalized treatments.
