CIRA (Italian Aerospace Research Center) is the center of excellence that leads aerospace research in Italy. As the manager of the National Aerospace Research Program (PRO.R.A.), it is responsible for supporting the competitiveness of the entire national supply chain, managing unique research infrastructures.
The Challenges
With a growing number of projects, resources, and facilities to manage, CIRA needed to overcome the limitations of traditional systems.
The challenge was to integrate the entire business lifecycle, from multi-year financial planning to monthly reporting, to achieve more efficient strategic and operational governance.
The Solution
SDG Group designed and implemented SPICO (Integrated Planning and Control System), a unified solution based on the Board platform.
The system integrates all company data sources (ERP, HR) and covers the entire end-to-end process: from project planning according to PMI standards, to budget and forecast management, to final reporting.
